The personnel involved are responsible for perpetuating the W.E.S.T. Initiative, and represent more than a dozen local teams & player groups, ranging from informal player groups and estate based teams, all the way to a manager and a player in the highest professional womens football league in the UK.

WEST is comprised of 9 adult volunteers, 2 young adult volunteers, and 19 young people aged 16+ (a total of 24 coaches with coaching certification including 3 at UEFA B level), and two FA Licensed Referees. All personnel are members of the local community, and can emphasize with the challenges faced by local young people.
